About you:For success in this role, you’ll need to be a registered vet nurse, with recent practice experience. You’ll have excellent communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with tact and build strong working relationships with other departments, adopters, and veterinary professionals. It is essential that you have an in-depth understanding of dogs and their welfare requirements, and how these factor into veterinary decision making.Please note, we have two maternity cover positions available in the team. One position is for approximately twelve months, and the other is for approximately ten months.

About this team:The Veterinary Department is a friendly team of veterinary nurses, veterinary surgeons and administrative staff working in the London Office. The primary responsibility for this team is to provide case guidance and management options for dogs within our care across our network of Rehoming Centres and other veterinary related schemes such as Outreach, Shared Adoption Scheme (SAS), Veterinary Support Fund (VSF) and the Emergency Trust Fund (ETF).
