Anaesthesia RVN, part time, 21 hours per week at the QMHA
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an RVN to work in our friendly multidisciplinary referral hospital in the anaesthesia department of the Queen Mother Hospital for Small Animals. This position is ideal for an RVN keen to develop their nursing career and specialise in all aspects of anaesthesia nursing.
You will join a strong team of anaesthetists and specialist anaesthesia RVN’s, and you will learn advanced drug pharmacology, patient physiology and how to design individual peri-operative patient protocols. You will be monitoring anaesthesia in a wide range of interesting and challenging cases, including Ophthalmology, Soft Tissue surgery, Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery and MRI.
This role will involve training and supporting veterinary and veterinary nursing students so experience as a clinical coach is desirable though not essential. Referral nursing experience is not required as full specialist training and support will be provided.
This is part time position working 21 hours per week; Wednesday-Friday, shifts between 8am-8pm
