Liz Branscombe DipAVN (Surgical) RVN from Davies Veterinary SpecialistsCongratulations to Liz Branscombe DipAVN (Surgical) RVN from Davies Veterinary Specialists, who has been appointed as a member of the RCVS Knowledge Board of Trustees.

RCVS Knowledge is an independent charity which exists to advance the quality of veterinary care for the benefit of animals, the public and society. Liz will be joining 11 other trustees on the board, two of which are veterinary nurses.

Liz qualified as a veterinary nurse in 1986 and has been a member of the nursing team at Davies since the practice was founded in 1998. She is currently the Training Manager, responsible for the development of induction training programmes for new employees and the implementation of ongoing training for team members.

Liz says she is looking forward to representing the interests of veterinary nurses, primarily in the area of access to and the enhancement of evidence-based veterinary knowledge: "I am delighted to have been selected as a Trustee and am looking forward to working hard to develop and enhance learning opportunities across the profession."
