Great to have the links - thank you. Particularly interested in the advertising bits. For anyone involved in lecturing, speaking, podcasting or content creating need to read this to ensure they are within the advertising guidelines.
Jo Brett - Hi, that's not quite right (sorry!). The advertising guidelines apply to advertising, which is the production and publication of adverts by manufacturers to sell their products. They do not apply to someone other than the manufacturer lecturing, speaking, podcasting or content creating. I think this is important, because for example, lecturers need to be able to share subjective personal opinions. Of course these rules would apply if the manufacturer or service provider was in fact a vet or nurse, but even then, there is a difference between an advertisement (which has to follow these guidelines), and a lecture, which is not an advertisement and therefore not governed by these rules.
