Dechra has announced four CPD sessions it will be hosting at the London Vet Show on 14th and 15th November.

  • 11:00 to 11:50 on the 14th: ‘The three things about Cushing’s I wish I’d known sooner’, presented by Emily Casey BVM&S MRCVS, veterinary technical advisor at Dechra
  • 14.00 to 14.50 on the 14th: ‘The compliance dilemma: a practical approach to helping clients improve outcomes’, presented by Dr Rebecca Maher MA VetMB PGCert MRCVS (pictured), managing director of InsideMinds Consulting
  • 11.00 to 11.50 on the 15th: ‘Small animal sedation: turning chance into predictability’, presented by Toby Trimble BVM BVS BVMedSci MVM Dip. ECVAA MRCVS, RCVS and EBVS specialist in veterinary anaesthesia and analgesia
  • 14.00 to 14.50 on the 15the: ‘Otitis externa: a practical framework to support antimicrobial stewardship and successful outcomes’, presented by Dr Steve Shaw BVetMed CertSAD DVD PhD PgCAP FHEA MRCVS, clinical associate professor in veterinary dermatology at University of Nottingham

The sessions will take place in Gallery Suite 17 and are first come, first served.

Dechra will also be sponsoring two equine sessions at LVS:

  • 10:30 to  11:20 on the 14th: Nicola Menzies-Gow MA VetMB PhD DipECEIM CertEM(IntMed) FHEA FRCV, professor of equine medicine at Royal Veterinary College (RVC) will be presenting ‘Evidence-based management of PPID and EMS’ in RVC Equine Theatre 2
  • 13:30-14:20 on 14th: Philip Ivens MA VetMB Cert EM (Int. Med.) DipECEIM MRCVS European and RCVS Specialist in Equine Internal Medicine, managing director of Buckingham Equine Vets will be presenting ‘Management of strangles on a yard’ between 13:30 and 14:20 in RVC Equine Theatre 1.
