A new device call the Animalarm, which sends dog owners an SMS text message if the temperature in their car exceeds a preset threshold, has been launched this week.
Apparently, you can also ring the device to check what the temperature is inside your car.
The Animalarm sells for £108 inc. VAT from www.animalarm.co.uk.
Now all we need is a bit of sun.

nice idea but will it encourage more O' to leave dogs in cars. And it doesnt take long for dogs to die in hot cars so if the O' is a few minutes away from the car when the text arrives they will need to act quickly to get back to the car. Also even if the O' is fast to respond it still would be horrible environment as the car warms up.
